My in-store freebie trip!

Today I headed out to "buy" some of the in-store freebies I found online through various promotions.

First stop Macy's!

I headed to Macy's to get my FREE 2-week supply of All About Eyes or All About Eyes Rich. But when I got to the Clinique counter, the saleswoman said that they don't have it in stock yet and that this has happened before when Clinique ran a promotion they didn't have the item. But she was very sweet and told me they were having a promotion in 2 weeks starting October 26th where they are giving a free 14 day supply of Long Last Glosswear SPF 15 in Fireberry AND a 5 day supply of All About Eyes!! Woo hoo! I made my appointment, and while disappointed I didn't get my freebie today, I am happy to patiently wait for an even better score!

Next up Sephora at JCP!

I then went to Sephora - thankfully they are both in the same mall! I got my certificate from TeenFreeway for a FREE deluxe sample of Too Faced Lash Injection Pinpoint mascara and had my fingers crossed they would be able to honor it. They too didn't have the sample. But again the woman that helped me was very nice, and felt bad she couldn't give me the product. But the certificate said that I was entitled to a free sample of my choice if they didn't have it in stock. She asked what I would like, but I surely couldn't choose!! She said no problem and promptly filled a cute little Sephora bag up with samples of Murad Eye Lift Eliminator, Philosophy miraculous anti-aging moisturizer, Oh Lola! Marc Jacobs perfume, Murad Active Radiance Serum, Murad Resurgence, and Murad T-Zone Pore Refining Gel!! Not only that she gave me my original cerificate back and told me another Sephora might have it so I can try again!

Now on this trip, I acually went with my children, my cousin, and her daughter and we had lunch at the food court, played a round of mini-golf, and my cousin did a little shopping at Target. After that, the kiddies were starting to get tired, so I didn't get to get the rest of my freebies, but I am hoping soon! I still have a coupon for a FREE lens cloth and cleaner from Walmart Vision, a sample of Aveda Foot Relief (valued at 7.50) and a free sample pack of Aveda Damage Remedy. Thankfully the Walmart coupon does not have an expiration date, and the Aveda certificates don't expire until June of next year!!
